When i bought my house 10years ago I figured out I need a new sewer system put in..I knew who to call and it was brian. And brian and his crew did a wonderful job. Still going strong. Brian was a gentleman and was very respectful. A handshake meant something to him. I will never forget him. My condolences go out to the family and friends for their loss. Sending prayers and hugs to everyone.

Sincerest condolences to the family, Brian was a giant of a man in our community. Being a country music fan, the song Big John is the closest thing I can think of to how Brian measured up. One funny story, when the Town of Norfolk had the Grantville Road water main break, on a very steep bank, and the bank was washed out, Brian told Buckshot, get that machine down there because if you can't I will do it. The North Country is a greater place for the example of his lifelong dedication to helping others, and his desire to assist those in need. If a mighty oak falls do you hear it ? Yes we do, and he was Brian Haggett..

To the Haggett family, we are saddened to hear of Brian's passing. He was one of the best. They don't make 'em like him anymore. Brian will be missed by those who had the privilege of calling him husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and the list goes on and on. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

To the entire Haggett family,
Brian was not only someone I considered a close friend, he was family. From the year 2017 that I became Highway Superintendent of Norfolk he showed me his true spirit and heart and what a kind human being should be. He never faltered from lending a helping hand to ANYONE. We also both served as Chiefs of our respective fire depts. simultaneously and even then although I didn't know him that well if I called for manpower, apparatus, he never said no. It was ALWAYS yes. He served this world with honor and grace and is now in His Heavenly Father's arms where he rightfully should be. May God comfort you all during this difficult time. I always admired you my friend and we will see each other again.
With deepest condolences,
Pete

Brian & I first met in 7th grade home room at NNCS. Assigned seating was alphabetical…..so his last name being Hagg & my last name Harr had us always sitting in close proximity. Over our Jr High & Sr High years we became close friends & I have so many memories of our whole group hanging out together. Many a hayride & bonfire occurred at “Haggett’s pit” & those memories are priceless & funny. To sum up Brian would be these words:
The Real Deal
Salt of the Earth
Unpretentious
Always a friend
While I mourn the loss of a friend, I smile at the memories & I know what a profound impact he made on me, on my friends, on the local fire departments & the whole community. It’s hard to find hard working, genuine people like Brian. The world could surely use more Brian Haggetts.
RIP my friend until we meet again.

My first meeting with Brian was when he was a young child. His brother Leslie and I were classmates and I was visiting the Haggett farm when I met Brian playing in the sandpile in the yard with his Tonka trucks and equipment. This foretold his later career.
Brian was my friend and neighbor in later life, and also a chief in the fire department I belonged to.
The number of times and ways in which Brian helped his neighbors and his community are so numerous as to defy count.
Rest in well-deserved peace Brian, and my deepest and sincere condolences to Lisa, Brian Jr., and the entire Haggett clan.
