I was so shocked to hear of the passing of George . My heart broke for his wife Ellen and Becky and all his lovely daughters. Ellen I can still see his broad smile and now it lite up his face . I can see him behind the bar laughing and telling stories and listening to many being told. I thought the world of George and you , Ellen. I will always remember the New Years parties at the bar and your delicious cabbage rolls . George was such a good man and had a heart as big as a bus . He made time for everyone who needed to sit and rest awhile with him while he rested on the porch with you , Ellen. I can see him now sitting with you on the porch . He was such a great asset to the Norfolk and surrounding area. A good citizen and all around good person . He will be remembered and loved for to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord. I wont need to look up to see him for i will see him in his children and his wife. Thank you , George , for all you have done for this town. A friend ,a quick smile , a listening ear and a welcoming humanitarian. We will miss you as sure as the sun will rise and the moon will shine her light to help us see in the dark .. Love and respect in the first magnitude Bonnie and Terry Frary

Ellen and Girls,
We were sorry to hear of George's passing. We are currently in Florida and cannot attend the services. George was very
good to Terry and I during hard times. He was a great softball sponsor and we and the team had many great times after games
and during parties at George's. He was one of kind with always a smile. I remember all the trophies he had on the walls for
years from the different teams. It was like a home away from home. May your memories keep you during your time of grief.
God Bless Everyone in the Family and warm your hearts knowing he was loved by all who met him.
