Well, I thought I would share a few words about Andy, or at least my perspective. When visiting Andy over the years I would say we always had very open and interesting conversations. Mainly about technical things, social and society issues, and politics. They were everyday topics with each other’s viewpoint. Listening and sharing thoughts and opinions and each walking away with something to think about or ending with a good laugh. These conversations were usually combined with a project (plumbing, electrical, construction, etc.). The bottom line is Andy did not want to sit around talking about it, waiting for something to happen, or telling others how to do it. He was ready to jump in at a moment’s notice to complete the task and making do with what was available. I would have to say some of the tasks were quite innovative and made me a bit nervous. He also was one who knew right and wrong and would let you know it, not necessary in a PC way. But I was fine with it and we would always just move forward with our conversation and/or task only to look forward to our next visit. Those experiences will be missed. God bless Andy.
