I remember Fred so well from my early years in Vilas Hall at SLU. One could not help but like and respect Fred as a gentle personality and competent IT administrator in those early years of computers. He was greatly missed after he was gone! Rest in the peace of the Lord, Fred!

I worked with Fred in I.T. at SLU for about 25 years. He made going to work fun. I will always remember playing racquetball with him during our lunch hour, working all night with him when there were problems, and being able to go to him when I had problems. I only met your family a couple of times but I feel like I know all of you personally because he always talked about you. He was a great man!

Our thoughts and prayers for Fred’s family. Steve and I worked with Fred in IT at SLU. We will never forget the smile and warmth he brought to the office everyday. Fred often talked to us about the love for his family and grandchildren. May you all find comfort and peace in knowing your Dad and Mom are together again.
God’s Blessings! Steve and Nancy Szafranski

To Fred's Family-
Fred was a tremendous colleague to us at St. Lawrence University. He always presented a deliberate, wise and kind presence. I can picture his smile and hear his laugh as if it was thirty-some years ago right now. Thank you for sharing his time with us.

To Fred's family Nellie and I offer our sincerest condolences. The hurt of loss will eventually evolve to fond memories. Fred's mark on all of us is so strong and so positive. My association with Fred was as work colleagues where he showed all of us that one could be a highly successful professional AND supervise in a totally humane manner.

Brousseau family, we were your next door neighbors in Potsdam in the early 70's. Chad and Sarah loved playing with you each day and your mom and I would chat and sip her great coffee. I loved your dear Mom, all of you, and your wonderful dad. How dad I am to learn of his passing. Deepest sympathy to all of you. Take care of each other, Sue Smith
