Bill and Linda (Barlow) White posted a condolence

I wrote a message last week and it disappeared somehow so I am trying again. You are so missed big brother. You were always there to do anything you could for any of your family or friends in need. If people were to look up the definition of big brother in the dictionary - there your picture would sit. Soar high with the eagles and run free with the deer where there is no more pain and sickness. I will see you again one day, so until then, be at peace and know you were loved by so many people that the list of them would be endless. Until we meet again ... your baby sister, Linda ... I love you!!

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort through the loving and happy memories of your dear loved one, William. May you also look to our loving Heavenly Father, the GOD of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4, Psalms 83:18). He promises us that very soon, "He will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4, Isaiah 33:24. He also promises us that there will be a resurrection of our loved ones that we have lost in death, and they will have the opportunity to live forever in perfect health in Paradise right here on earth. (John 5:28,29, Psalms 37:10,11). What wonderful promises! Can you imagine a time on earth when there will be no more sickness, pain or death? May all of God's promises give you a measure of comfort, peace, hope and strength. I have personally found very comforting information on jw.org.

Bill was a customer of mine, and a friend. I enjoyed talking to him about his hunting adventures. Bill always talked highly of his family, and especially liked taking a young person to the outdoors for there first turkey or deer hunt. rest in peace my friend.

My grandfather was a family man. His family meant everything to him. He stepped up and raised me like a daughter when my own father was not in the picture. He loved the diner. I cannot remember a week growing up where we didn't go to the diner. Summers were filled with rides in his truck helping him install and repair satellites, then to the diner for ice cream. I loved to pal around with Grandpa. Breakfast with Grandpa was always at Nins. Chocolate chip pancakes. He loved going for ice cream. He always made sure I had everything I needed for cross country and track and field. Always took care of my mom. He loved his great grandchildren dearly, especially Levi. Levi spent summers with Gramma Becki, and fishing with Great Grandpa at the tubes. Grandpa loved to hunt and fish. Sitting in a tree stand or turkey blind I had the wonderful experience of shooting 4 deer and 5 turkeys. He took me fishing all summer. I miss him so much, as do my children. We are praying for the rest of our family during this time and holding dear to our memories of him.

To Bill's family;
I met Bill a year ago last summer for the first time when we spent some time at the hospital in Potsdam. We both were having some problems getting out and we passed our time by entertaining the help and cheering each other up. A great guy to be sick with and I had thought of him often since then. Sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will always remember him with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes as he enjoyed teasing me about the antics that he and my husband shared at the diner. I will miss that smile very much. All of our love and prayers go out to the family.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Bill. My mom, aunt and I loved visiting with him at the two cafes in Norwood and Norfolk. He was always bothering us about the homemade pea soup which he’d try to make us order cause he knew we all disliked any kind of pea soup. He sure loved and was so proud of his grandkids. Rest in peace dear friend.
