Dear Aunt Mary and family:
Leo just notified me of Uncle Wally's passing.
We enjoyed every minute that we spent with him during our visits. He made us feel welcome and he was always, always kind and congenial.
Although distance kept us from enjoying his company more often, we will always cherish the time we spent with him and the whole family.
Even as a young child, I remember his joyful, gentle nature.
Leo and I are grateful that we were able to spend some time with him during recent visits.
We know you all will miss him dearly.
Stay strong, and cherish all the wonderful memories you have made together.
