I'm so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Tim singing at St. Paul's. "How Great Thou Art" was my favorite. His marching cadence was second to none. He will be missed.

Aunt Bernice and Family,
I just found out about Timmy, and I am at a loss for words!
He fought so hard for so long, I guess I thought he would win the battle.
I will remember him as a very special person. He was always calm and relaxed, caring, and funny. He had a great approach to life, something that we should all learn from.
I am very sad about losing Timmy, but at the same time, I can smile about the times we had as kids in South Colton and Norwood. And of course, it was always a riot to run into Timmy at the fireman field days!
He will certainly be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
You are all in our prayers.
I will see you Sunday night.

Dear Donna and Family:
I was very fortunate our paths crossed. Tim was a kind, loving, soft spoken, and a great Catholic with an unwavering faith in our Lord and Savior.
I will treasure my memories of him and espeically the moments we prayed together at Strong.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
God Bless.

Missing you still and remembering everything we have ever talked about and all that you have taught me. Holding on to each day as though I can pick up the phone and just call you any time I want. But, when I want to hear your voice, I go to where the angels are singing, and then I know that you are fine. Thank you my friend....

My sincere condolences to Tim's family. Tim and I were both friends and colleagues. He was one of the best men I've ever known...kind, faith-filled, patriotic, funny, talented, a good friend. Tim was also amazingly gifted musically. He generously offerred his beautiful voice to sing the National Anthem at our annual Veterans Appreciation Day at Tioga Downs. We lost Tim way too soon, but God must have other plans. RIP, my friend.

What a devastating loss to Tim's family and to everyone who knew him. I will forever remember Tim's kindness and humor but have fond memories of Timmy and Jim Buckley playing desk hockey in Mr. Tompkin's math class with the Don Cherry commentary. I still smile to remember their antics.

My deepest sympathy to Tim's family. I was fortunate enough to have met Tim and worked with him as he took on his new position in Clarkson CAMP. He was one of the nicest people I have met while I have been at my job. He was always friendly, gracious, and a true gentleman. He shared many stories about his career and truly seemed so happy and grateful for the life he led. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for the loss of Tim. I am devastated and had became so close to him right before his diagnosis. I have shed so many tears, and no matter how many times I have said that I was OK, I really, was not. I am unable to truly write down how I feel at this point, because of the impact he made on my life. I just want you all to know how much he meant to me and how Christ-driven he was. His death was an absolute HOLY DEATH by far, just by what I have witnessed and you should be so proud of the man he became in the short life that he lived. Today as he is buried, let it only be any faults or weaknesses he might have had, give any sins to the devil and his soul to God. If anyone wants to remember Tim, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who might need you. If we do all of these, Tim will live forever. Again, I a so sorry and will be praying that the days ahead bring you much comfort.

My sincere condolences to Tim's family on the loss of this great man. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, humor and story telling abilities of the "North Country". But by far his greatest attribute was the manner in which he lived out his faith in God. He wore his belief in Christ, the Blessed Mother and his Roman Catholic faith as a mantle that was always wrapped tightly around him. It was as if he was calling out to all of us the absurdity of what the world calls important and the true purpose of life which is to live out our faith and walk humbly with God. Tim - "May the Angels lead you into paradise and may the Martyrs come to welcome you. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him."

Our condolences to Tim Toms family and loved ones. Tim was the epitome of a Gentleman. Things he held precious constantly arose in conversation. His love of family, with very special comments regarding his mother; his love of singing with his strong voice and desire to cut a CD of favorite hymns but too modest to feel that his voice was good enough; his love for the family farm with the chance to meet up with friends while selling Christmas trees; his love of Clarkson; his love of country and Church; and his strong respect for and coaching of business associates in the military environment.
I met Tim Tom on his first day at Owego as a summer intern and frequently shared tasks on various military programs until I retired. Tim was a frequent visitor to our house as well as our lake house and we enjoyed several occasions to hear his strong solo voice at Church. Surely he will be missed by all.

To the Tim Thomas family, please accept our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies on the death of Tim. As a distinguished colleague and professional, he was the most caring and thoughtful person, who will be missed. And the joy he brought to all with his beautiful singing voice was truly a gift from above. The Lord must have needed Tim more in heavan than we do on earth for taking him at such a young age. May he rest in peace.

Praise God for the life of this man of such charity, faith and humility. Tims friendship, his talents and sound advice, cherished and respected by so many people, are to be sorely missed. A profound Catholic, he seemed to touch the hearts of all Christians he met. My own acquaintance with Tim began in 2004 when my religious order transferred me to Mount St. Francis in Maine, New York; a place he frequented quite often to attend Mass. We spoke of many things: of Lockheed Martin, for example, and the considerable number of fellow employees whom he gathered together at appropriate times during the week and within the work-environment, amazingly for a bible-study and sharing. He spoke of his love for America, and particularly of his respect for the Christian witness of its leaders throughout our countrys history. I recall he once shared his preliminary plans to have a giant flag pole prominently placed high on his property in the North country upon which would be a huge garrison flag permanently unfurled. Indeed, I believe he had the makings of a great statesman, which was a view that I understand was shared by people with their eye on him for that very purpose. He always spoke most tenderly of his family; his devotion toward his beloved Donna especially touching. I can only thank the Lord for the gift of knowing this rare bird, Tim Thom. I much regret his loss; still I rejoice with him now and entrust him to our Blessed Mother Mary whom he so loved. For all the unquenchable courtesy and kindness he had shown us, let us respond in gratitude with Masses, Rosaries, and our continued prayer for the repose of his soul.

I am heartbroken to learn that Tim passed away. I have known Tim for 18 years. We negotiated many contracts - I was negotiating for the government and Tim for Lockheed but in the end it was all for the same cause - the US Military - the war fighter. I heard stories of Tim's love for his mom and his wife Donna and their children. He enjoyed working on his farm. He had a strong faith, that is for sure. I know he is watching over all of us from Heaven. I am so sad....I was not aware he was sick again. I will pray for his family - that you find peace knowing Tim was so well respected and that he is out of pain and in a better place.
