Dear Tom and all your children and grandchildren. I was so shocked to just learn today about Betty's passing. She fought a long, brave battle. She never complained about her suffering on the phone or in our e-mails, just put up such a strong fight and had such a good attitude. I have loved her like a sister since I met her in 1959. Your loss is great. The world was a better place with her in it. I am so sorry for your pain.

Tom, Peter, Cathy, Amy, Karen, Niki and families,
We are so sorry about your wife's/mother's illness and death. She was certainly a wonderful person. We recall that she always had a smile on her face and a friendly word for everyone. I remember Betty singing in the community variety shows long ago when my sister and I danced as young children. She was not only known for her voice, but also for her wonderful personality. It was always evident, throughout her life, how much she cared for her family. She will be missed. We hope that your fond memories help to console you during this difficult time. We are keeping you in our hearts and prayers.

Tom and family. It is so sad and such a shock when we lose a loved one, even if in our hearts we were expecting it and we know it is for the best. Try to remember the good times and all the things that made Betty the happy- go-lucky lady that she was. That is what she would want from her family and friends, she was that kind of person. Remember her smiles and her outlook on life and live your remaining years like she would want you to. She wouldn't want it any other way. That said please accept our sincere condolences. She was a beautiful and special person.
