As a child, I attended the same church as Naomi, with my parents and/or grandparents. I recall her quick sense of humor and her feisty attitude towards life. She and my grandma were "school mates" back in the day. I hadn't seen Naomi in many years, but she left a positive mark on me when I was a kid. Thinking of you all and wishing you many happy memories!

Gram, there were so many things I wanted to say at your funeral. I have prepared myself for this day many times yet when it happened, I wasn't ready. I miss you so much. I miss talking to you. You taught me so much over the years and I am a better person because of you. You were a mom, grandma, confidant, and best friend to me and I will forever be grateful for everything you did for me. I hope you are at peace finally. I really miss you so very, very much. I love you forever and always, Tracy

David and Greg. Aletha and I were saddened to learn of the passing of your Mom. We have many fond memories of our time in South Colton and the church. Your Mom is in the center of those memories. We last saw her when we made a "sentimal journey" with our family to show them there roots. You are in our prayers. Many blessings.

I am so sorry for your loss. Naomi was a favorite person while I was growing up, and I was happy to visit her a few times on trips back. One of her watercolors graces my living room. She was a great lady.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stowe family. Our father was Rev. Selden H. Ward. She was the organist and good friend to the Ward family.

We have fond memories of Naomi.
She was a talented artist and we will always think of her when we see her painting of the hotel at the Rock (restaurant).
We enjoyed the times we visited with her on Sugarbush Lane. She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed.

David and Greg..... I shall be forever indebted to your Mother for her help when Dad had Hospice and then again when Mother had Hospice.... and they were such good friends to begin with. Last time I saw her was when we were in Colton 5 years ago.... I hope she didn't suffer.... and she was so good with Kathleen Sullivan. I want to wish you only fond and great memories. She was a great lady!

So sorry for your loss. What a great lady she was! Whether it was hunting for crayfish off her dock, stopping by to visit her dog, fishing, hanging out in the playhouse - she always took such an interest in what "us kids" were doing and was so welcoming. I stopped a couple of times since I returned to the area to say hi and we had some nice chats. She would pull out the most recent family pics she had and show them to me - she was so proud of you all! I was sorry to hear she had taken ill in recent years and sorrier still to hear she has passed away.

Sorry for your loss. Naomi was a friendly and happy face to all at church. She welcomed me to her home for some conversation and tea on occasion. I enjoyed her company. You will miss her.
