Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
If I shall die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Amen.
I love you always and forever Grama.

Dorothy is part of so many of my childhood memories. She cared for me since I was a baby until the day that I left New York, and even now I think of her often. I can still remember each Halloween insisting on going to her house so she was able to see my costume, I can still hear her ooooo's and ahhhhh's as I twirled for her. I loved sitting in the little rocking chair in her living room watching all the old-fashioned cartoons like Pop-eye. Dorothy will be dearly missed but I know she will live on in my heart and never be forgotten.

Hearing the name Dorothy Powers brings me back to my childhood. Chasing her chickens and collecting eggs from the barn, 3 wheeler rides and amazing homemade apple pies. But most of all I will remember what a sweet, caring person she was and the postitve impact she had on the Dargie family. I will forever carry those memories and wish the best to the family. Dorothy will never be forgotten, having made a lasting imprint on my life and many others, she is a symbol of virtue.

My thoughts and prayer go out to Ann and her family. I have many memories of your mom from playing at your house when we stayed with my grandmother and father (burlingame). She was a sweet sweet lady and will be dearly missed

There are so many memories, I can't even begin. She was so special to my family, and is such a part of my kids childhood memories. I see her mowing the lawn with her pom pom hat, riding her 4 wheeler and baking her famous apple pie. I will forever remember her standing in her doorway blowing Amanda and I kissess the day we left for Florida. She will always be a part of us.

Dear Family,
Dorothy was a very kind and loving person. When my siblings and I used to visit she would always have treats waiting for us. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
