I will so miss not seeing Ms.Uffer around. I am so pleased that I was able to tell her how much I thought of her as my Art Teacher in The Campus School. We talked about such great times, projects, and friends! I will miss her sweet giggle, and beautiful smile! I will never forget her as she was an insertion to me since I can remember. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends as we all have suffered a great loss. May you rest in peace Ms.Uffer!

I extend my sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of Miss Uffer. She was also my art teacher at The Campus School many years ago. She always had a friendly smile and was very upbeat. It was very apparent to her students that she genuinely loved being a teacher. Her enthusiasm was contagious. My appreciation for art began in Miss Uffer's classroom, and still continues today. The world has definitely lost a "one of a kind" person. I will miss you, Miss Uffer. Thank you for choosing to dedicate your life to teaching. You made a difference to so many.

I have know Ellie for many years, first as my children's art teacher at St. Mary's School, and more recently as my neighbor for the past eight years. My children and I loved her and loved meeting her in the neighborhood as she walked Sunshine. She was a wonderful teacher and neighbor, and we will miss her very much.

Ellie Uffer was a wonderful teacher. She allowed my daughter to do incredibly out-of-the-box projects while at SUNY Potsdam Campus School. She was involved in the College, donated her time and artistic creations to the annual Art Auction (I still have one of her needlepoint trees) and even invited my daughter to do a presentation to her college class. A memory for all of us - making paper from corn husks.
She will be remembered by many former students, and all their parents. I than her for sparking my child's creativity.

We held a memorial Mass in Eleanor's honor at the holiest sanctuary in Poland, Jasna Gora in Czestochowa where the Black Madonna resides. We were all praying for Eleanor and her family. We have been greatly saddened that she couldn't be with us on the pilgrimage. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened to hear of Eleanor's passing. I met Eleanor at The Craft Attic, a gift shop I worked at in Massena. Eleanor would purchase my hand painted sculpted dolls. I was always flattered by her compliments knowing she was an Artist/Teacher. Her happy disposition was contagious. I will continue to think of her often. I'm sorry for your loss.

Ellie Uffer was my beloved art teacher at the Campus School in Potsdam. Some of my most vivid memories of that time are in her art room. She was a wonderful and patient teacher whom I appreciated very much. Her memory will always live on in my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers to Eleanor's family. The gifts Ms. Uffer gave to the students at St. Mary's were priceless. Our daughter Catherine's love and appreciation of the works of Van Gogh expecially Starry Night, was a gift Ms. Uffer gave her that she will have all her life. Bless you Eleanor and rest in peace.
