NORFOLK—Funeral Services for 64 year old Annie Murial Margaret Gordon Mattice LaBarge, of 373 County Route 38, Norfolk, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy and Rev. Andrew Amyot presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Mrs. LaBarge passed away Saturday at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Annie is survived by her husband John, Norfolk; her son Lawrence and Jamie LaBarge, Norfolk; her three daughters, Cynthia Thomas and her companion Kristin Frego, Chase Mills; Lynne and Mark Allen, Norfolk; Dawn Sharlow and her companion Christopher Beldock, Waddington; eleven grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Irene LaBarge, St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena; a sister Valarie Pelkey, Moira and two son-in-laws, Bill Sharlow and Scott Thomas. Annie was pre-deceased by two sisters, Audrey Sharlow and Joan Miller. Born in Ogdensburg on January 25, 1948, a daughter of Wesley and Bernetta Fullerton Mattice, Annie married John W. LaBarge on February 20, 1967. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years, retiring as Postmaster in Norfolk in 2006. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation and the Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary. Annie enjoyed traveling, tending to her flower gardens and spending time with her family. She loved her cat T.T. and her dog Baby.
