NORFOLK—Funeral services for 63 year old Peggy L. Jenner, 3 Thomas Ave., Norfolk, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Massena with Rev. Harold Wheat, main celebrant, presiding. Burial will be held in the Hale Cemetery, Norfolk, in the spring. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Peggy passed away Sunday morning at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. Peggy is survived by her son, Philip and Lynn Jenner, Dexter; her daughter, Natalie and Scott Blais, Bloomington, Indiana; her five grandchildren; Jaicee Blais, Thomas Blais, Jordan Jenner, Danielle Jenner and David Jenner. Peggy is also survived by her four sisters, Catherine and Larry Fayette, Norfolk; Gloria Ann Simons, Maryland; Carol Simons, Seattle, Washington, Violet Simons, Canton and several nieces and nephews. Born in Massena on October 15, 1948 to the late George and Violet Jacobs Simons, Peggy was a school teacher for 32 years at the Madrid-Waddington School District, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Norfolk United Methodist Church; the Madrid-Waddington Teachers Association; the N.Y. State Mathematics Teachers Association; Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary and the Fort Nightly Club. Peggy played the Organ at the Norwood United Methodist Church from 1965 - 1975, and then played at the Norfolk United Methodist Church from 1975 until her passing. Memorial Donations can be made to St. Lawrence Valley Hospice and Palliative Care; the Norfolk United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in her name; the Norwood-Norfolk Minor Hockey Association; Thousand Island Youth Hockey Association or to the Madrid-Waddington Mathematics Memorial Scholarship Fund in her name.
