Your Mom had a real impact on my life even though she probably never knew it. I would stop and talk to her from time to time - she was always there with a wave and a smile. One day I went into the house and we talked for well over an hour. She showed my how she cared for her home - we talked about kids and shoes and daily chores. I left thinking to myself, "This is a lady who is determined to live large right up until the moment she dies." I determined to bring that attitude into my own life. I loved her outfits, her earrings and her attitude. And oh, how I loved her shoes!!! I didn't realize she had passed or else I would have gone to the funeral. She made my life a brighter place; there's a hole on the street where her smile had been. I'm sorry for your loss - and ours.
