NORFOLKFuneral Services for 80 year old Robert L. Eurto, 331 River Road, Norfolk, will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery in Norfolk. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mr. Eurto passed away Saturday morning at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena.
Mr. Eurto is survived by his wife, Rose, Norfolk; his four sons, Russell Eurto, Malone; Richard Eurto, Norwood; James and Pamela Eurto, Tucson, Arizona; Paul and Betsey Eurto, Norfolk; three daughters, Debra and Melvin Charter, Norfolk; Sharron and Brian Buder, Sharon Springs, NY and Lori and James Doran, Norwood. Robert is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, his brothers, Gerald and Nola Eurto, Fort Worth, Texas and John and Arloween Eurto, Norfolk. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Wilma Rivera.
Born in Norfolk on October 2, 1930 to the late Lawrence and Gertrude Hatch Eurto, he married Rose Davey on July 9, 1955. He worked for ALCOA in Massena for 39 years, retiring in 1988 as a Foreman Crane Operator. He was a member of the K of C Council # 11544 in Norfolk, the Massena American Legion and the Massena VFW. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WW II. Memorial Donations can be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
