We were so sorry to hear about Phyllis.
She worked for years with my father and my husband. For many years Phyllis brought joy to our family when my father would rent a cottage on Higley from her. Some of my fondest memories growing up were our vacations on Higley! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Baker family.
Fondly,

Worked with Phyllis at GM. As a GMI student she was our personnel contact and advised us on GM stuff as well as life issues. She seemed to never grow older as we graduated and always had that smile on her face. After her retirement I would see her once a year at the GM retiree plant visit and she was always cheerful and full of life. I was glad I was able to see her this year and will cherish that memory. She was a great lady - she will be missed.

There is a gaping hole in the group of earth's angels and a new one in heaven. I will forever remember her wonderful smile and positive attitude. We'll all meet again when we get to heaven. May the family be comforted in knowing she is not suffering now. God Bless.

Phyllis was "one of a kind"--generous, sweet, gentle, loving, conscientious, intelligent, hardworking,--I can't think of enough good words to describe her. My husband, Tim, and I winter in Whispering Palms and have been proud to call both Phil and Phyllis our friends. We had the privilege of staying in "the doll house" a couple of years ago. They even let us bring our golden retriever, Bear. I was also very fond of that beautiful cat, Lucky. Phyllis loved her family very deeply and spoke of all of you often. I had the joy of meeting some of you when you visited her and Phil down here in Sebastian. She, as well as Phil, will be greatly missed here. She was indeed the heart and soul of our Social Club. She will always live on as a bright and shining memory for all of us who got to know her so well. God bless you all in this time of sorrow. As hard as it is, we must all rejoice in having her on this earth for 74 years and in knowing that she is at peace in Heaven and out of pain. Love, Barbara Boardman
