NORWOOD—Funeral services for 96 year old Rena E. Morgan, a resident of Maplewood Campus, Canton and a long time resident of Norwood, will be held Monday at 3 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Pastor Belle Burgoyne presiding. Burial will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Norwood. Calling hours will be held Monday from 1 pm until the time of the funeral. Mrs. Morgan passed away Friday at Maplewood. Mrs. Morgan is survived by three sons, Charles “Chuck” and Karen Morgan, Norwood; Jack and Arloene Morgan, Norwood; Fred A., Murrells Inlet, SC and a daughter M. Joan Woodward, Cheektowaga, her sister Betty Rourke, Maplewood, Canton and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred and Wilfred(Bill) and her sisters Mildred Gibson and Lodene Hathaway. Born in Madrid on January 18, 1914 to the late George and Clara Hough Brown, she was educated in Madrid schools. She married Fred B. Morgan on October 9, 1935 at the Nevin Memorial Church in Lisbon. Fred passed away on March 18, 1994. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
