Paul and the Santimaw Family posted a condolence
The laughter and the misic is what I will always remember. When I would come home on leave she was always the first Aunt I would visit and she always had me play my guitar for hours on end. I recently was given recording software and was in the process of recording a cd for her of all her favorite John Denver somgs and a few songs of my sisters (of whom Linda's voice she loved the best. On behalf of the whole Santimaw Family I say she will be greatly missed and I will sing to her memory as long as I am able. Ricky, Randy Penny and Maty Jo, I offer my heartfelt condolences and will come visit with cd's in hand.
Love Paulie

So sorry to hear of Sally's passing. My dad, John Donoghue, and uncle, Jimmy Beattie, used to hunt with Sally's dad and brothers at their place back in the 1950s. Dad spoke so fondly of Guy, May, Sally and all the Reeds. Lots of great stories from those days. Sally sent a lovely note when my mom passed away a few months ago that my father so appreciated. She said at the time that she was struggling with lung cancer. Our condolences to all the family on your loss.

Sally was my father's first cousin and when she found out that I was interested in genealogy she generously shared all of her materials and work with me. I am so glad that I got to know her and Gardie. She was very special to me and we will drink a cup of her favorite tea to remember her by.

Sally told me once that this life was a test for what was to come in the next, and what we learn in this life gives us what we need for the next.
We have many beautiful memories of Sally. Her fiesty, salt-of-the-earth, warm persona was something I admired and will never forget. We'll never forget the good times with Sally and her guitar at the Cedar Lodge! Our sympathies to Randy, Penny and Rick. Your mom will be missed. -L

Sally's family, I will miss Sally greatly. She was one of the first people I met when I moved here in 1981, her smile and her warmth will always be remembered. She was always there to be a friend. Her many talents and caring will be missed by anyone who knew her. She will forever be in my heart and I am very thankful I knew her. I hope I gave to her as much as she gave to me. Forever she will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Love Jacki DeGraw

I'll always remember the good humor and kindness of this lady. Many nights were spent over a cold beverage and a meal visiting at the Cedar with Sally listening to wisdom of both life and love. Many a night when the lodge had closed early Paul and I would pull in and turn around to leave only to have the outside light flashing for us to return for a drink or three and a chat, Sally in her after hours mode playing her guitar and singing songs of her own creation. Plenty of cool November mornings after the hunt at her house having a giant breakfast and a long chat were had as well. Many thanks to this great lady for all she shared of herself. You will be missed and remembered. To the family remaining,I give you this wisdom passed to me by my own grandfather shortly before his departure. "Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all.If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all" Sincerely,Greg D
