NORWOOD – Funeral services for Frances R. Bartlett, 82, a resident of 4 Baldwin Ave, Norwood, will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12 noon at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at noon. Frances passed away early Saturday morning, January 25, 2025 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Frances is survived by her seven children, Theresa Allen, Arizona; Paul Wilson, Ohio; Reed Bizzari, Ohio, Tracy Sweatz, Ohio; Amy Sweatz, Ohio; Philip Donoghue, NY; Debra Donoghue, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two step-children, John Bartlett Jr. and Jerry Bartlett and a half brother, Michael Barb, CA. Frances was pre-deceased by her mother, father and her late husband, John "Jack" Bartlett.

Born in Martins Ferry, OH on February 4, 1942 to Frank and Lillian Martin Bazar, she graduated from Canton High School and married John E. "Jack" Bartlett. Jack passed away just over a year ago on December 27, 2023. Frances worked in the health care field, working as a Home Health Aide and previously working for Medlink. In her free time, Frances enjoyed painting and has painted several pieces over the years. She was known as the rock lady, painting many rocks too. Frances enjoyed going to craft fairs with her works of art, she enjoyed the outdoors, shooting guns, spending time visiting with people and most of all, she loved her beloved dog Reggie, who passed away just a few months ago.
