POTSDAM— A private Celebration of Life gathering for Donna J. Moody, 72, a resident of 384 St. Highway 345, Potsdam, will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024. In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no services. Donna passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Massena after a brief stay. Donna is survived by her three children, Todd (Tracy) Moody, Potsdam; Laura and Tim Banton, Potsdam and Lee Moody, Potsdam; her four beloved grandchildren, Diamond, Trisha, Paul, and Blake and four great-grandchildren. Donna is also survived by four siblings, Robert and Delores Narrow, Potsdam; Debbie Narrow, Potsdam; Sharon Narrow and companion Mike Long, Liverpool; and Kevin Narrow and his partner Sabine Bass, Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Donna was pre-deceased by her husband Walter in 2021 and two siblings, Mary Ramsay and David Narrow.
Born on March 25, 1952 to the late Wallace and Jo Doris Overton Narrow, Donna attended Potsdam Central School. She married Walter W. Moody Jr. on November 21, 1970. Walter later passed away on April 1, 2021. Donna was a devoted homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, going to bingo, spending time with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, camping, playing cards and enjoying life with her husband Walt.
