MORGAN HILL, CA - Susan L. Koepp-Baker, 82, of Morgan Hill, CA was called back by the Lord on December 20, 2023. Susan was the 3rd of 4 children of Paul and Ester Lennox. Sue is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Koepp-Baker Valenzano & husband Jamie (West Grove PA), her son, Sean Koepp-Baker & wife Noel (Livermore CA); a brother Michael J. Lennox & wife Billie (Colton NY) and their 3 children as well many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Born in Potsdam, NY on December 4, 1941, Susan grew up and attended school in Colton, NY. After graduation she received an AS degree in business from ATI and took a job with General Electric in Syracuse, NY. While working for GE Sue met Nicholas B. Koepp-Baker. The two were married on July 27,1963 at St Patrick's Church in Colton NY. They moved 12+ times before purchasing their first home in Kimberton, PA in 1976 where they raised their two children, Gretchen and Sean. At the age of 50, Sue decided to go back to school and 2 years later graduated with Magna cum laude honors receiving dual bachelor's degrees in political science and public administration. Sue was very active in the local community where she provided grant writing services and created the community's first household recycling plan. Sue and Nick moved to Morgan Hill, CA in 1996. Sue quickly got involved with the local community, she was very active with the Girl Scouts where she provided grant writing services, was an active member of the Morgan Hill Planning Commission, Work 2 Future Board, participating member of the San Jose CA chapter of AAUW, and many other non-profit and community assistance/service organizations. Additionally, Sue started and ran SKB Services Inc. and Enviro-Tech Services businesses for 14 years before her passing. Sadly, Nick passed away from cancer on August 25, 2005. Graveside services for Sue and Nick will be held in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton, NY on July 13, 2024 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Giroux presiding, the same cemetery where her grandparents Floyd and Grace Pearl Fallon and parents Paul and Ester Lennox are buried.
