POTSDAM – Graveside services for Yvonne M. Dunbar, 78, a resident of the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Massena and formerly of Mayfield Drive, Potsdam, will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. in St. John's Cemetery in Madrid with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Mrs. Dunbar passed away late Saturday evening, July 6, 2024 at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Massena. Yvonne is survived by her brother, Frank Paige Sr., Norfolk and her sister, Darlene and Allen Bush, Raymondville as well as several beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Yvonne was pre-deceased by her parents and her husband Ronald. Born in Massena, NY on May 11, 1946 to the late Donald and Jeanette Saucier Shea, she married Ronald Dunbar on November 5, 1966. Ronald later passed away on January 23, 2005. Yvonne was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Potsdam and was a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary in Massena. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show, singing and most recently, attending the Blue Horizon one man band at the nursing home in Massena.
