Obituary of Terry B. Styles

MADRID – Graveside services for Terry Buell Styles, 76, a resident of 62 County Rt. 31, Madrid and a longtime resident of Norfolk will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Old Brookside Cemetery, Waddington with Rev. Andrew Amyot presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Mr. Styles passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. Terry is survived by a brother, William and Ellen Styles, Sedalia, MO; a sister, Jean Grady, Norfolk; his nephew and niece, John and Claudia Grady, Albany and Tammy and Tom McGrath, Norfolk; his great nieces and nephews, Jennie and Travis Villnave, Hillary and Paul Sweeney and James and Trever McGrath and his great-great nieces and nephews, Hailey, Chance, Charley, Ivey and Madeline. Terry is also survived by his beloved extended family of Brock Simons; Robert and Lee Kerr and their children, Kristie and Jason Perretta; Lynn and Dave Wright and Kathi Kerr and her companion Wendel Ward as well as his entire family throughout the entire SUNMOUNT and NYSARC communities. Terry was pre-deceased by his parents, two sisters, Mary Lou Fairbridge and Helen Brown and a nephew Kim Grady. Born in Ogdensburg, NY on July 22, 1947 to the late William J. and Hilda I. Buell Styles, Terry worked for over 40 years at the Massena Bottle Redemption Center. He loved to walk around the town in Norfolk and visit with people. Terry was a Honorary member of the Norfolk Fire Department and he enjoyed watching sports, especially the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. He loved getting together with family and friends at cookouts so he could visit and especially on his birthday, which in his eyes was a national holiday.
