Obituary of Audrey D. Harcourt

CANTON—A Celebration of Life gathering for Audrey Harcourt, 93, a resident of Partridge Knoll in Canton, will be held later in the spring or summer. Audrey passed away Saturday evening, November 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is survived by three sons: Gregg Harcourt and his partner Lindsay Medeiros of Martha's Vineyard, MA; Gary and Kathryn Harcourt of Martha's Vineyard, MA; Ed and Tracy Harcourt of Colton, NY; a daughter, Geri and Dean Chapman of Chenango Bridge, NY; a daughter-in-law, Isabel Harcourt of Telluride, CO; and her beloved ten grandchildren: Kevin, Allen, Forest, Maya, Alex, Kyle, Thorne, Mattie, Weston, and Sunny; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Edwin in 2001, her son Glen in 2006, and her siblings: Donald Dorst, Louis Dorst, Shirley Schacht, Betty Lustig, Irene Powers, and Candie Mincy. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on October 23, 1930, Audrey graduated from high school in Detroit, MI and married Edwin Harcourt on April 5th, 1952. In loving memory of Audrey, we honor a life centered around family, particularly her beloved grandchildren. Audrey's laughter, appreciation for the outdoors, and readiness for adventure painted vivid memories. Her legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and a helping hand extended to all.
