NORWOOD -- Graveside services for Evelyn J. Ashley, 87, of Smyrna, TN will be held on July 13th, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Norwood, NY.
Mrs. Ashley died on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at Stone Crest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN of pneumonia. She was a seamstress.
Born on August 14, 1935, in Norwood, NY of the late Ira and Celia Currier Narrow, she married Arthur C. Ashley, on May 25th, 1952. He died on March 14th, 2016.
Surviving her are a son and daughter, Allen Ashley, Smithville, TN, and Mrs. Richard (Christine) Myers, Smyrna, TN, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephew.
A son, Kenneth Paul Ashley, two brothers, Paul and Gerald Narrow, and five sisters, Elizabeth Boyce, Doris Shuck, Dorothy Queor, Lena Foley, Arlene Rampell and Pearl Robinson, died before her.
