Lynn was a talented athlete, great teammate and friend. We played softball together many years ago, and it was so enjoyable to play third when he was patrolling short. He possessed tremendous hand-eye coordination, and there was no play he could not make. He would always try to make the right play, which was not necessarily the safe or easy play. More often than not, it as the correct play. He lead by example and inspired players around him to be better, which is what good leaders do. We met occasionally over the years, and would always reminisce about those times. I remember him as a steady and unwavering friend who cared about those around him. Thank you, Lynn.
