I am so sorry to hear about Mary's passing while away. I would have attended her wake and funeral if I were here. I first met Mary when I started working with her in the Support Collection Unit in 1996. She was a very caring, smart, and considerate lady. We spent many a day alongside each other visiting, and I got to know Mary quite well. She was so proud when she became an EMT, and also a member of Colton's Fire Department. After Mary retired, I would look for her every year at Colton's Winter Festival. She always had a smile and a determination to finish what she started. I will miss Mary. I want to extend my sincere condolences to her family. She will always be a bright, shining star to a lot of people. I will never forget her. So long, good friend, until we meet again.
