NORWOOD- Graveside services for Ronald L. "Nick" Bosjolie, 85, a resident of 37 Maple Street, Norwood, will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Norwood with his son, Pastor Michael Dewey presiding. A Celebration of life gathering will be held at the Norwood American Legion following the services. Mr. Bosjolie passed away on Sunday evening, May 22, 2022 at his home with family at his side. Ronald is survived by his wife Lorraine, Norwood; his sons, Brad and Terri Bosjolie, Norwood; Kevin Bosjolie and Joy Dawson, Norfolk; Mark Bosjolie and Jessica Empey, Norwood; Bruce and Debbie Dewey, Potsdam; Michael and Sandra Dewey, Manassas Park, Virginia; his daughters, Angela Bosjolie, Cheshire, CT and Valorie and Timothy Irish, Brasher Falls. Ronald is also survived by his several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his two brothers, Marvin and Sally Bosjolie, Bedford, Indiana; Donald and Susan Bosjolie, Colton and his sisters, Cynthia Rheaume, Norfolk; Janet and Gilbert Simons, Waddington and Peggy Crosby, Rochester as well as several nieces and nephews. Ronald was pre-deceased by his parents, his first wife, Christine; a grandson, Braeden Bosjolie, a son, Jefferson Dewey and a sister, Darlene Ann Bosjolie Page. Born in Lyon Mountain, NY on December 23, 1936 to the late Roy and Patricia Peets Bosjolie, Ronald graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School and entered the U.S. Army, serving until his Honorable discharge in 1960. He married Christine Fiacco on February 4, 1967 and she later passed away on February 9, 1982. Ronald remarried Lorraine Hale on July 15, 1983. Ronald worked at ALCOA in Massena as a loader and truck driver, retiring in 1999 after 33 years of service. Ronald loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time at camp on the Sylvan Falls Hunting Club where he was an honorary member. He also enjoyed gardening, bowling, golfing, antiquing and collecting baseball cards. His most enjoyment came from spending time with his family, his grandchildren and having coffee with his friends.
