WINTHROP—There will be no services at this time for 68 year old Francis E. "Buddy" French, a resident of 14 Green Meadows Road, Winthrop, who passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, December 30, 2020 at his home with his family at his side. Buddy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly, Winthrop; two brothers, Weldon and Kevin French Sr., both of Potsdam; a sister, Victoria French, West Potsdam as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Buddy was pre-deceased by his parents, two brothers, john and Bernard French and a sister, Sophia "Sophie" Brown.
Born in Potsdam, NY on March 11, 1952 to the late Kenneth and Helena Gonyea French, Buddy attended high school and married the love of his life, Beverly Perrigo on January 6, 1990. He worked as a cleaner and maintenance employee with the Town House Restaurant in Potsdam for 27+ years. He was a devoted employee and husband, making sure Beverly did not go without.
