Nick and Ben, there aren't words to explain how hard it is to even have this conversation with you boys. I'll never forget the day I met the three of you in our " ugly" yellow duplex on north main st. Ben was two and Nick was four. Seems like forever ago but like yesterday at the same time. Your mom became the best friend I ever had and you boys were extended family. Your Mom helped make me into the person I am today. She taught me to love myself and to be fearless. I will always love her and you boys. I am going to miss her so very much. I will see you this summer and we will catch up. Please keep me posted on the arrangements. If I can help please let me know. I love you boys and never forget how proud your Mom was of you two.

Nick and Ben, my deepest condolences to you and your families. I was crushed when I heard the news. Mags was an amazing woman and friend. She had a heart of gold. We put a lot of miles on together and she was my A-Bay partner in crime! I will miss you forever Mags. Fly high and ride on Sista.

To Maggie’s boys and entire family, I was shocked and very saddened to hear of Maggie’s passing. I worked with her for many years and we became such good friends in our early years of our career. As time passed we moved on to different paths at the Power Authority. When we did get a chance to see each other we would laugh and reminisce about the many good times we shared together. She was free spirited, fearless, strong, confident and a hard worker. She was one of several that paved the way for women to work alongside men in the workforce. I will remember her jolly, soulful laugh and am grateful for the friendship we had. God Bless and Rest In Peace Maggie. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Darlene Losey

American Legion Riders Post #925 posted a condolence

On behalf of the American Legion Riders of Post #925 (Norfolk), please accept our sincere condolences. Maggie was always seen throughout the charity ride season organizing, riding, and helping out raising money for those in need. She also produced the ride calendar for the charity ride season so more people could be informed. When you ran into her out and about about motorcycle events, and she attended a lot of them, she was always up for a good friendly conversation. The motorcycle community will miss this woman enormously... and we are so grateful for all that she did year after year. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear of Margaret's passing at a relatively young age.I was a close friend of her sister Ginny (Virginia) and had known her parents and brother slightly as well, from when they were attending Trinity Church Potsdam. I wish all of her family well at this difficult time.
