Betty and Clark were true christian friends. They were honest and well respected. Betty was a great cook, especially of edible wild food like her beaver tail soup and wild flower jellies. Even her milk weed veggies. She was a very compassionate godly person and a pastors true friend. She spoke ill of no one, she was full of God.

Betty was a wonderful person and like a grandmother to me. Clark and I shared the same birthday so we called ourselves twins, I always felt at home just being around Gramma Betty. Her love of nature and God were truly contagious and inspirational. One of her favorite verses has been a great inspiration to me. Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; WE WILL rejoice and be glad in it.

To the Ramming family-- Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of a great lady. I was on her bus at some point in Lockport. She served Ridge Road Express faithfully for many years and touched many lives. My prayers go out to you from my family to yours from the Albuquerque area.

I would never forget my church grandma. I remember always going over to her house on her birthday helping her move. I remember that smile on her face. She brought joy to everyone around her. I miss her so much I don't even know what to say. I know that she is probably up in heaven smiling down on all of us. It's just sad to see a joyful most caring person pass away. But I know she was strong and her stubborness maked her able to go on a plane ride and even make it 100 to get a letter from the president. I miss you Betty.

Betty was a great friend. She always gave me a hug and told me that she loved me. I have known her for about 20 years and she always came to our dealership with a smile! She often had a jar of jelly for me or just a good story about her day. I really enjoyed her visits. I remember how proud she was of the "letter from Washington" for her 100 birthday. She even stopped into visit me when she and Judy came North a couple years ago. She cruised in with her walker and sat down and we had a good chat just like I had seen her last week. What a great soul!! I will miss her dearly and pass along my sympathies to her family and friends.

Where do I begin Grandma was my best friend and I will miss her hugs and kisses she always shared. I was very blessed to have been with her when she went to be with the Lord. I am very thankful for the many years I shared with Grandma. Over the years I have learned many things about the outdoors and oh the birds. The birds were always a special creature we shared a love for plus she even named one up North after me. Luckily four years ago I was able to take my oldest Granddaughter to her house up north as well. A memory that will always be cherished forever. You will forever be in my heart and the many many memories we have made over the years. Give Grandpa and Virginia a big hug for me and Ed . Until we meet again Grandma I will never be alone because you are always there in my Heart. Love you Always Grandma

Mrs. Betty was such a WONDERFUL lady! I remember visiting her mountain home with my parents. (My stepdad had worked with her years before and she apparently made a lasting impression on him.) I remember she let me use her snow shoes to hike into the woods. She taught me to "hug" the trees. And I remember using her incinerating toilet! My stepdad passed in 2017, but my Mom (Betty Rhoat) and I leave our sincerest condolences to y'all. RIP, Betty. I bet I'll see you again... :)

My grandmother was the most amazing person. I remember going to the mountains every since I was very young. I loved it so much that my girlfriend and I made several trips the past few years that gram and Aunt Judy were there. The memories of those times I will cherish. Give Gramps a hug for me. Love you!

I will always treasure knowing Betty. She was one of only two people I can remember being over 100 years old. She always seemed younger than she was . She enjoyed life and showed it. Her hugs are legendary. I use to stop by for coffee (and of course she always wanted to serve me cookies). Sometimes I'd get a sample of her wildlife cooking. I even had Beaver Tail soup one time (It was good too ! We would have great conversations, often praising the Lord whom she loved and who loved her even more. We will miss her but only for a short time. We will get to see her again - when we have that grand reunion in the sky !
