Obituary of Yvonne C. "Cuddy" Allen

NORFOLK --- Calling hours for 64 year old Yvonne C. "Cuddy" Allen, a resident of 286 Brouse Road, Massena, will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. There will be a service following calling hours with a priest presiding. Cuddy passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She is survived by her companion of twenty years, Charles Garlough, Massena; her five sons, Michael and Amanda Allen, St. Regis Falls; Frederick Allen Jr., Norwood; Joshua and Sarah Allen, Winthrop; Jeremy Allen, Norfolk; Matthew Allen, Norfolk; her daughter, Emily and son-in-law Joshua S. Foster, West Stockholm; twenty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cuddy is also survived by her brother Joseph Hicks and Dayna Cole, West Stockholm and her sister JoAnn LoBello, South Colton. She is pre-deceased by her brother Richard Hicks. Born in Rochester, NY on July 29, 1954 to the late Sherry LoBello, Yvonne attended Bellevue Central School in Syracuse. She married Frederick Allen Sr. in 1975 until their separation in 2002. She worked at the Norwood ARC, the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, and volunteered with the Raymondville food pantry. Cuddy loved hummingbirds, she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
