Remembering Gert as a wonderful grandmother for Jesse, and a wonderful support for me as his mom. She taught me a lot about household management :), and about showing up as the grandma when needed. She treated him like a little prince when we visited them when he was a baby and preschooler, and she and "Bepa" would come stay with Jesse when I needed to travel. Gert had a big heart and for that I was always thankful.
