Obituary of George H. Malone

NORFOLK – Calling hours for 63 year old George H. Malone, a resident of 3245 Ct. Rt. 47, Norfolk, will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Massena at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Ault presiding. George passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at his home. George is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karin Malone, Norfolk, his daughter, Molly and Matthew Trim, Norfolk, and two grandchildren, Sophie and Dante Trim. He is also survived by his two brothers, Howard "Joe" Malone and his companion Bonnie Martin, Raymondville and David Malone, NJ and his three sisters, Marie Baldridge and her companion Rolland Jandrew, Norfolk, Cindy Murphy and her companion Dennis Blumer, Massena, and Rose and Kenneth Bickford, Massena. George is pre-deceased by his sister Betsy LaComb. Born in Massena, NY on February 14, 1956 to the late Howard and Betty McGregor Malone, George graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Army. He married Karin J. Thrana on April 26, 1980 and worked for the Electrical Trade Union Local 910 for many years. George always kept busy puttering around and was always helping other people out with a Pepsi in his hand. He also enjoyed watching Judge Judy and game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune.
