NORFOLK – Funeral services for 87 year old Irma Jean Clark, a resident of 209 Mill Road, Norfolk, will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mrs. Clark passed away Wednesday evening, March 6, 2019 at the Massena Memorial Hospital.
Irma is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harold F. Clark Jr., Norfolk; her four daughters, Judith and Gary Hathaway, Myrtle Beach, SC; Susan and Robert Serviss, Sun City West, AZ; Cathy Clark and Tim Vice, Brasher Falls; Leslie Clark-Mowrer, Norfolk; her three sons, Terry and Terry Clark, Norfolk; Jamie Clark and his companion Kellie Bell, Madrid and Jeffrey Clark and Brenda Honsinger, Swanton, VT. Irma Jean is also survived by her twelve beloved grandchildren, ten great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Shirley Antwine, Seattle, WA. Irma is pre-deceased by her two brothers, Edward and Lloyd Antwine.
Irma was born in Norfolk, NY on January 20, 1932 to the late Elsward and Nellie Winifred Antwine. She married Harold F. Clark Jr. on August 20, 1949. Irma worked at home, raising her seven children and also worked with the St. Lawrence County Board of Elections and worked with St. Lawrence NYSARC for several years. She was a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and in her spare time enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the babies, loved flowers (roses) and enjoyed tropical fish. Irma Jean also enjoyed reading and spending time at camp in Star Lake.
