POTSDAM – In keeping with Kevin's wishes, there will be no services for Kevin P. Creighton, lifelong resident of Potsdam, who passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital with his family at his side. Born in Potsdam, NY on December 13, 1958 to the late William and Nancy Palmer Creighton, Kevin graduated from high school and was a certified nurse's aide as well as a phlebotomist. Kevin was employed for several local business and eventually found his calling as a self-employed certified home health aide, a job in which he truly enjoyed as he could help others. Kevin is survived by Thomas F. Russell and Terry J. Rinebold as well as a number of other cousins. He was pre-deceased by his parents, his step-father Donald Fisher and his three brothers, Daniel, Stephen and Michael Creighton. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed watching NASCAR, listening to old country music, antique cars and trucks and Harley Davidson's. Memorial Donations in Kevin's memory can be made to St. Lawrence Valley Hospice and Palliative Care or to any local cancer center and memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com . The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood is serving the family of Kevin P. Creighton.
