Dear Alice: Well, we never met, but I wished we had. You sound like a beautiful, loving and carrying lady. I love that you had the strength to persevere when times got tough, left the farm, got a job and finished your education. And, I am so inspired that you pushed the value of education onto your children. I admire you for going where you had to and mustered the strength to pick up, move your children to Vermont, go to nursing school and get a degree. I know how hard that is because my daughter just graduated with a Masters of Science and Nursing and it is HARD work, not to mention you did it with children! To you, independence, strength, determination and family were everything. What pioneer you were and what a legacy you have left behind. God bless you sweet lady. You go girl!!!!
