NORWOOD – Private services for 90 year old George H. Reynolds, formerly of Norwood, NY and Nokomis, FL, will be held at the convenience of the family at Riverside Cemetery in Norwood. Mr. Reynolds passed away Sunday morning, July 15, 2018 at 4312 Gainesborough Court in Tampa, Florida. George is survived by his three daughters, Lyn and John Johnson, Nokomis, FL, Sherry and Henry Deshaies, Pikeville, NC, and Sue Ann and Robert Barber, Tampa, FL, along with five grandchildren, Melissa, Todd, Scott, Robert & Christopher and seven great grandchildren. George is also survived by his nephews Bob,Mike, Richard & Don Ashley and Royal Mattice . He is predeceased by his wife, Colleen C. Mattice and a sister, Ethel Ashley. George Reynolds was born on February 22, 1928 in Potsdam, NY to the late Earl and Mildred Reynolds and married Colleen Mattice on March 12, 1946. He worked as a Maintenance Superintendent at the NY Power Authority and was a past member of the Norwood Fire Department, Brass Fireman, and the Louisville Fire Department.
