MASSENA—Graveside services for 89 year old William L. "Billy" Clemons, a resident of the St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Ogdensburg and formerly of Massena, will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery in Madrid, NY. William passed away peacefully with his niece Kimberly by his side, Friday, June 1, 2018 at the St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Ogdensburg. Billy is survived by his nieces and nephews, Karen and Dale Peterson, Jeff and Denise LaBarge, Jim and Erin LaBarge, Patty Miceli, Sandra LaBarge, Kimberly and Scott McGregor, Mary Hallett as well as several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents and two sisters, Natalie LaBarge and Betty Boldiszar. Born in Potsdam, NY on June 25, 1928 to the late William and Elizabeth Heaney Clemons. Despite his disability, Billy was involved with SUNMOUNT and NYSARC attending several workshops and dayhabs. He loved drawing and was fascinated with World War movies and books. He enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family with NYSARC and SUNMOUNT.
