CHASE MILLS—Funeral services for 59 year old Linda L. Kinney, a resident of 16 Arena Drive, Chase Mills, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk with Rev. Mike Jablonski presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Ms. Kinney passed away at home unexpectedly. Linda is survived by her daughter Samantha Kinney and her fiancé Geoffrey Ibey, Madrid; her two beloved granddaughters, Riley Lin and Piper Rose; her father, Lindon Kinney, Chase Mills; a brother, David Kinney, Chase Mills and two sisters, Vicky and David Goldman, Norfolk and Cheryl and Tim Gagne, Raymondville as well as one niece and four nephews. Linda was pre-deceased by her mother, Nancy Kinney.
Born in Potsdam, NY on August 25, 1958 to Lindon and Nancy Brothers Kinney, Linda graduated from Madrid-Waddington High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in psychology from SUNY Potsdam. Linda worked for St. Lawrence County as an service assistant and later worked for Pathstones Inc. in Potsdam as the Senior Employment Specialist. Linda was a member of the NYS Federation of Home Bureau, a past Girl Scout Leader and was a very creative and artistic person, making incredible drawings and etched glass artwork as well as doing many crafts. Her most enjoyment came from spending time with her family, friends and cuddling with her two granddaughters.
