I was very sad to hear of Gail's passing. My thoughts go out to all of her family. She was a good friend to my mom Nancy Purves who also passed in 2010. They are together once again looking down on us. I understand how hard this is for you all, in time you will be able to smile when you think of her instead of tears.....she was a wonderful woman and will be missed.
Although the miles separated us it was always comforting to know that I had a big sister. I can remember when I cut my hand badly at school and she was the person who came and got me to bring me for treatment of the wound, It is discomforting to know that I can no longer seek her help when I damage myself as she was the most compassionate sister a young man could ask for. Heaven truly received an angel on Saturday and I will miss her terribly.
Michael, Denise and Diana - I am truly sorry for your loss, a person never really leaves us unless they are forgotten and I know that Gail will never leave us because we will never forget her. God Bless.
I am sad to say that I am unable to attend due to medical appointments, We do intend to come in the spring.
We extend our sympathy to your family. Gail and I grew up together, and spend much time together in our younger years, that cousins do together. I have many happy memories of good times, and will remember these, when I think of Gail. Since we live so far away, we will unable to attend the funeral service, but will be there in our prayers.
I am sorry for your loss. I always remember Gail as smiling and happy. We had great
times at parties at her camp and at her Mom and Dad's house in Norwood. We lived down the street from Gail and John in Norwood in the early 70's. Also my family bridal shower was at their house in 1970. I am sure her suffering is over and her eternal life in heaven with God has begun as well as her reunion with deceased family members.
God Bless her family and prayers for peace in your grief.
We will not be able to attend the funeral as we are in Florida for the month of March and not flying home until 3/31.
