My thoughts and prayers are with the Ensby family. Mrs. Ensby was a wonderful lady and I have many happy memories of being around her and all of her children. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Ensby. My love to all of you.

When you're a kid, you're largely oblivious to so much that goes on around you - you're basically there for the ride. You're not paying attention to the fact that there's this immense network of people out there looking out for you. Your immediate family bear most of that responsibility but it never ends just there; it branches out into this gigantic web. Did the Ensby family give any thought to the kid that was hanging out with their son Mike going back to 1st grade? Or the fact that kid still remembers so many times being invited over to do what most would define as "nothing", but was clearly not; how could it be if I remember it all these years down the road? Of course not. They never gave it a second thought; they were just being the kind, beautiful people they were, essentially pseudo-adopting another kid. Seriously, someone should have taught Lois & Dick the word ENOUGH somewhere along the way. But if that had happened, I might never have known such an awesome family, might never have known some fantastic, crazy, hilarious moments. And Mike, let's face it - I might not even be married, or at least I wouldn't have the blessed life I have. With all that, I send much love to the Ensby family at this time. If you ever thought those meaningless things you did for the kid across town were really meaningless, you were very much mistaken.

Sincere sympathies to the Ensby Families
Remembering Lois...her smile, her love of her Family, her beautiful gardens, sharing flowers and plants, knitting double mittens, Monday mahjong and mahjong friends, beet greens and carrots, sweeping leaves and shoveling snow, the love of her Higley view, cross country skiing, trips to Massena, laughing
I will miss her friendship. A very special Lady.
