Obituary of Diane M. Clark

NORFOLK—Funeral services for 78 year old Diane M. Clark, a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena and formerly of Norfolk, will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery in Norfolk following the services. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. Mrs. Clark passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Massena Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.

Diane is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald, Massena; a son, Donald and Colleen Clark, Pennellville, NY; her three daughters, Kim and Shawn Scott, Massena; Kelly Martianou, Cream Ridge, NJ; Tracy Dengle, Moorestown, NJ; her ten beloved grandchildren; Sarah and Jeremiah (Scott) Powers; Stacey Scott; Sofia, Chloe, Spiro and Talia Martianou; Timothy and Nicholas Dengle and Ryan and Emma Clark and her Great-Grandson, Shawn Powers. Diane is also survived by her two brothers, Lee Clark, Massena; Arthur and Arnita Clark Jr., Norfolk; her two sisters, Lynette and Don Butler, Unadilla, NY and Lois and Vernon Singleton, Owego, NY as well as several nieces and nephews. Diane was pre-deceased by a sister Shirley O'Neil and a son-in-law, Bruce Allen Dengle.

Born at her home in Norfolk on October 29, 1938 to the late Arthur and Geraldine LaMora Clark, Diane graduated from High School and married Donald C. Clark on April 12, 1958. She worked as a homemaker and raising her family. Diane was very active for many years with the American Cancer Society, volunteering in many capacities. She was also a past Chairperson of the Norfolk Democratic Committee and worked as an election inspector for many years. Diane also had a keen eye for collecting Antique and Vintage pieces, in which she was very successful at. Diane enjoyed going to bingo, feeding wildlife in her yard and cooking, in which she truly enjoyed.
