On behalf of my wife Stephanie and me, we would like to offer our condolences to Tom's family. He was an incredible gentleman.
Stephanie and I, along with our dog Ben will miss the almost weekly visits we had with him as we picked up wood for our camping trips to Higley Flow. Our "5 minute stops" usually turned into about an hour. He always made us feel welcome. Rushing out to greet us when we arrived and always with a milk bone for Ben.
We enjoyed our talks about US and Canadian politics, his service to his country, and of course his family. He was always happy to show us any new additions to his "statue" family outside.
We will miss those weekly visits.
We plan to raise a shot of Jameson Whiskey during our first campfire at Higley Flow this summer in Tom's honour.
