KNAPPS STATION—Calling hours for 49 year old Rebecca A. "Becki" Barlow-Pierce, a resident of 1286 Old Market Road, will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Becki passed away on March 22, 2017 at her home with her family at her side. Becki is survived by her parents, Bill and Kathleen Barlow, Norwood; her husband, James McConkey Jr., Norwood; a daughter, Coral and Matthew Dill, Kentucky; two step-sons, Peter McConkey, Mayfield, NY; James McConkey III, Norwood; three step-daughters, Michelle and John McNamara, Buffalo; Dawn and Jamie Schreiner, West Sand Lake; Jamie McConkey, Loudonville, NY; her four beloved grandchildren and six step-grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy Barlow, Connecticut and Connie Barlow, Lancaster, NY and her nephew, Trevor Wilson.
Born in Potsdam, NY on February 25, 1968 to William "Bill" and Kathleen Lewis Barlow, Becki graduated from High School and attained an Associate's Degree. She was currently working for the Potsdam Humane Society as an Animal Control Officer. Becki loved hummingbirds and flowers, and often made Jim accompany her on a fishing adventure. Becki's true passion was animals, where she was always willing to give a hand in helping any animal in need. Memorial Donations in Becki's memory can be made to the Potsdam Humane Society.
