Obituary of Bonnie Sue Swinyer

KNAPPS STATION—Funeral services for 67 year old Bonnie Sue Swinyer, a resident of 1404 Old Market Road, Norwood, will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery in Brasher Falls. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Tuesday from 3-6 p.m. Mrs. Swinyer passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Bonnie is survived by her son Francis Jr. and his companion, Sara Archer, Norwood; a daughter, Kimberly and Donald Hill, Calcium, NY; her grandchildren, Kyle and Kolby Swinyer, Makenzie Warriner and Natasha, Lindsey, Donald Jr. and Kevin. Bonnie is also survived by a brother, Ronald "Pete" Weegar and his companion Winnie Pinczes, Stockholm and a sister, Connie and Gary Ling, Stockholm as well as several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was pre-deceased by her husband Francis on January 1, 2015 and a brother, Roger Weegar. Born in Massena, NY on May 27, 1949 to the late Allen "Joe" and Helen Michaud Weegar, Bonnie graduated from high school and married the late Francis J. Swinyer on October 18, 1968 at the Norfolk Methodist Church. Bonnie worked at the Norwood-Norfolk Central School in the cafeteria as a cook for over 34 years. She loved cooking, gardening, going to the casino and spending time with her family and her beloved cat "Molly".
