SOUTH COLTON—A Mass of Christian Burial for 90 year old Joan T. Golden, a resident of United Helpers Riverledge, Ogdensburg, and formerly of Cold Brook Drive, South Colton, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Colton with Rev. Stephen Rocker presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Colton following the services. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Monday from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Golden passed away early Friday morning at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. Joan is survived by her husband of 59 years, Douglas F. Golden, Ogdensburg and several nieces and nephews. Born in Westport, Canada on January 11, 1926 to the late Michael and Anesthesia McAndrew's, Joan received her RN Degree in Kingston. She married Douglas F. Golden on June 29, 1957. Joan worked for the Red Cross in Syracuse for many years. She was a devoted Catholic and was very active in any church functions. Joan always enjoyed helping others and loved looking at the beauty of nature outside. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com .
