NORWOOD—Funeral services for 65 year Otis Chambliss, a resident of 15 Maple Street, Norwood, and formerly a resident of Massena and Willowbrook State School, will be held Friday at 10:00 am at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. Family and friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood on Friday starting at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Mr. Chambliss passed away Tuesday evening.
Born on January 18, 1951 in Manhattan, NY a son to Otis Chambliss and Alma Mitchell Chambliss, Otis was beloved by all staff, friends and family whom he meet throughout the years. Otis had a passion for slap stick comedies and movies at the local theatre. His sense of humor and playfulness would light up a room and put a smile on anyone’s face around him. He was affectionate by nature and always greeted anyone new with smiles and prompt attention. Otis will be greatly missed by all who know him.
