Obituary of John F. Cook

Norwood-- Funeral Services for 44 year old John F. Cook, of 3 Murphy Road, Norwood, will be held Thursday at 11 am at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow, pastor of St. Andrew's church in Norwood presiding. Spring Burial will be held in Hale cemetery, Norfolk. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Mr. Cook passed away Monday afternoon at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Survivors-- Wife-- Brenda, Norwood; Sons-- Francis Cook, Norwood; Randy and Chelsea LaSalle, Raymondville; Jason Tassie and his fiancé April Caza, Massena; Daughter-- Sara Tassie, Massena; Father-- Kenneth and Evelyn Cook, Nunda, NY; Mother-- Marsha Gratton-Wells, Bedford, Indiana; 1 granddaughter Alexa LaSalle and 1 unborn grandson Taven N. Tassie, due next month; Brothers-- Kenneth and Jean, Cuba, NY; Tony and Debbie, Rochester; Raymond and Lindsey, Batavia; Sisters-- Mrs. David Melody Sweet, Atlanta, GA; Mrs. Mary McQuoid, Frankfort, KY; Jacqueline Cook, Lockport, NY; Mrs. Frank Rose Jarvis, Lockport, NY; Mrs. Shawn Sue Mitchell, Massena; Mrs. James Samantha Michaud, Bedford, Indiana. Born in Rochester on July 21, 1963 to Kenneth and Marsha Wells Cook, he married Brenda Brothers on October 5, 1991. He worked as a Chef at the Bears Den in Hogansburg. He loved cooking, watching wrestling, fishing, racing, playing the guitar and playing Bingo every Saturday night with his family. Memorial Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are with the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.
