NORFOLK– Calling hours for 85 year old Mary K. Teabo, of 1601 County Route 38, Norfolk, will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk. The Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 3pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held in the springtime in Bixby cemetery in Norfolk. Mrs. Teabo passed away Tuesday evening at Massena Memorial Hospital. Mary is survived by a son William and Barbara Henderson of Roseville, CA., one grandson Travis Henderson of Roseville, CA, and a brother Leroy Williamson, Milwaukee, WI. Among several nieces and nephews is a niece Dorothy Mae Thomas of Campbell, NY, and she is also survived by the extended Teabo family and her fellow Legion Auxiliary members. She was pre-deceased by her husband William in 1957, a companion David Monroe, her brothers Howard, Charles, John, Raymond, Bruce, Harry and Walter and her sisters Minnie Guthrie, Marie McCormick, Mae Williamson and Estelle Thomas. Born in Jersey Shore, PA on November 1, 1923 to Harry and Flora M Henry Wiliamson, she married William Teabo on April 13, 1945 in Fort Dix, NJ . She worked for St. Lawrence County Nursing Services as a Home Health Aide for many years. She was a member of the Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary, Massena VFW Auxiliary, and the Massena Amvets Auxiliary. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley, Route 11, Potsdam NY, 13676 or to the Norfolk American Legion Womans Auxiliary, High Street, Norfolk, NY, 13667.
